Krzysztof Kurowski, holds the PhD degree in Computer Science and graduated from Poznan University of Technology. Since 2008 he has been leading Applications Department at Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, Poland. He has been actively involved in many R&D projects related to information and communication technologies at the national, European Union and international levels. He was a research visitor at University of Queensland, Argonne National Lab and University of Southern California. His research activities have been focused on the advanced simulations, scheduling and resource management in networked and distributed computing environments. Recently, he has been active in the following research domains: power-efficient IT systems, advanced visualization and interactions, digital education and massive e-learning technologies.
